------=_NextPart_000_003D_01C1DEF4.50025080 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I have CMP EJB and I don't know what class to use for MySQL longblob mappin= g? This will be deployed to WebLogic and BES5 (Borland). I try for WebLogic with java.sql.Blob and for BES byte[], like documents sa= id, but this doesn't work for me. I just know that I must deliver something that servlet developer can cast t= o byte[]. Any suggestion (anyone) how to map this column? P.S. Sorry Ahmed I didn't explain better ;) ----- Original Message -----=20 From: Aboul-Enein, Ahmed A=20 To: [email protected]=20 Sent: Sunday, April 07, 2002 5:31 PM Subject: RE: [EJB-Developer] MySQL longblob The following is valid for BLOB, I believe it should work for longblob = also. If your JDBC driver is JDBC 2 compliant, try calling... 1. BLOB ResultSet#getBlob(String colName) then 2. byte[] BLOB#getBytes(long pos, int length) Apologies if this did not work, please let me know if it worked or not = for you.
