Oracle synonym problem

Hi all,

Easy question for the experts. I hope ;-) 

When I indicate the table (Oracle 9i) synonym. Middlegen replies that the table does not exist and no bean is generated.
ie.:     
<table name="T_USERS"  singular="user" plural="users"  />

Everything works fine and tables are found when table name is indicate instead of using synonyms.

Is there any bug that does not let middlegen to get tables by synonym ????
