Generating unsaved-value

Middlegen 2.0/MySQL 4.11/Hybernate 2.0

I need to be able to generate the unsaved-value id tag attribute in my hbm.xml files. It does not appear this attribute is settable in the gui. 
Is there a way to specify this attribute somewhere so that it will be generated with the hybernate ant task in the hbm files ?
