bigdecimal constructor problems and max. open cursor problems....

Version 2.1, I try to use it and get
"ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded"
That's silly, when I'm using only 2 tables.

I go down to version 2.0, and I get generated code
that tries to construct a BigDecimal using a
BigDecimal.

That's silly too.  Anyone have solutions or could
someone possibly point me to a working example,
please?
Perhaps it's something that I'm doing wrong.  I'm
using Oracle 9i, JBoss 3.2.x
