RE: Change extension from .event

Hmmm...good question. When we originally designed the event model, we did
take this requirement into account...so the basic event dispatching
structure itself should be able to handle it (the web.xml file would have to
be updated, etc). But in terms of the taskdef that generates the events from
the xml file...that's probably going to take some tweaking. I'd say dive in
and try to patch it, and holler as you need help. When you get it complete,
I'd love to see you contribute back your work to the community.

Ought of curiousity, what's causes you to need to change the extension in
the first place?
