What I did was I made everything in the BarracudaDiscRack folder on down 
world-writable (chmod -R o+w *) and cycled the app but that made no 
difference. I even tried manually creating the trace.log file in various 
locations with full permissions but that also did not help.

After about an hour of trying different things I gave up and restored 
the directory to its original permissions (which is why you don't see 
any differences Jake). I can go ahead and set it all world-writable 
again if one of you think you want to play around with this.
