Actually, Replace doesn't support regular expression matching. However,
the Ant optional task ReplaceRegExp does...
http://ant.apache.org/manual/OptionalTasks/replaceregexp.html

It is optional because it requires an external regular expression library
to work. These include j2sdk1.4.x regular expression package,
Jakarta-RegeExp, and Jakarta-Oro. Jakarta-Oro is the recommended one since
it treats line endings in one way across platforms and will work with older
JDK's. Maybe we can add an attribute to the CopyAndReplace task or to
individual token/value entries identifying the replace to use regular
expressions? If ReplaceRegExp throws an exception saying that no regex
package was found, then either fail the task or log a warning and continue
on to other token/value pairs. I'd think that logging the warning, rather
than failing the task, would be the most prudent.

What do you think?

Jake
