"will be"?  This has been the case ever since JSF was proposed.  "When will 
it be done?" is my question to you.

Also, I think you mean JSF (Java Server Faces), not JFS.

A comparison of BarracudaMVC to JSF is very welcome.  Would you like to 
take up that task?  Anyone else familiar with JSF and would like to make a 
comparison?

Keep in mind that JSF is based on JSP and simple string 
manipulation.  BarracudaMVC is based on programmatic access to the document 
via the DOM.  These are pretty different worlds.  I should be more 
specific.  BarracudaMVC's component model is based on programmatic access 
to the document via the DOM.  The event and form mapping models can be used 
independently of the component model.  I would argue that use of the DOM 
allows for a cleaner, more object oriented, way to deal with presentation 
than JSP.  That fact alone might cause one to use BarracudaMVC over 
JSF.  Beyond that, I can't say much because I don't know how JSF deals with 
events, form mapping, etc...

As far as BarracudaMVC's future, I don't know that we have a specific 
long-term plan.  However, as people use it and make it known what features 
need to be improved or added based upon current and future requirements, 
BarracudaMVC is improved upon.  So, as a result of developer and community 
involvement, it stays up-to-date and continues to be developed.  As soon as 
people stop using BarracudaMVC, development of it will probably be 
stopped.  To keep that from happening, keep contributing.  Long term plans 
for BarracudaMVC are decided by you and the rest of the community.  A more 
appropriate question might be "what are your long term plans for BarracudaMVC"?
