Subject: Re: [Barracuda] Newbie

Hello,
a few weeks ago, I had been in a similar situation. Here are the two steps I

found useful.

1) Well, it is a little more than a hello world example. But it is very well

documented and explains the event concepts. And you should take a look on
the
event model anyway. So, I would recommend to start with the login example:

http://barracudamvc.org/Barracuda/docs/SimpleLoginApp/simple_login_app.html

2) The second important step in the learning process is getting your own
first
trail up and running. You have html, java sources, option files and ... to
work together during the build process. Ant will do this for you, but you
have to say how. Here I found the Stefan Armbrusters contrib example very,
very useful. Take a look at the directory:

src/org/enhydra/barracuda/contrib/sam/webapp

Especially the build.xml helped a lot to define my own first project.

That's it. Have fun.

Regards
Martin
