You can grab the 1.2.5 release and get everything that comes with Barracuda including the source to BConfig... http://barracudamvc.org/downloads/barracuda-1.2.5.zip That said, I'm not sure BConfig is the best app to base your application on. It was a bit of an experiment. I'll let Christian expand on this as he was BConfig's original author (as well as the original author of Barracuda itself). You might look at the login app, the examples and tutorials, the Disc Rack app, and contrib apps by Diez B. Roggisch and Stefan Armbruster. The BConfig app is based on keeping a single large DOM in memory and marking parts of it invisible. It seems to work, but it can be limiting. I would definitely look into Diez' "Pages" framework which sits on top of Barracuda and also utilizes some nifty XMLC functionality.
