I'm almost totally new to barracuda but ... I've never used that method
of getting the DOMFactory... instead set the DefaultDOMLoader within
object-repository.xml and get it as
DefaultDOMLoader.getGlobalInstance()
Then you can switch from one to another chaning the entry relative to
dom factory within the object-repository.xml ... so restarting the apps
change the factory in use...
