I agree with this. A lawyer friend of mine had a look at the licenses
and agrees that the GPL and LGPL are concerned only with distribution.
In short:
GPL: Open source forever, cannot be distributed with non GPL code
LGPL: Open source forever, can be distributed with code under any
other license including GPL.
BSD: Can be ripped off by anyone and then re-distributed under a
closed license.
The Free Software Foundation recommend transferring all copyright to
them.
