But if you contribute to an apache.org project, copyright goes to
Apache, right ?

Some things needs to be made clear here: You can say that you choose the
Apache-licence without transfering any copyright to the Apache Software
Foundation (ASF)! There are plenty of projects which are doing so. If
you look at such licences you will find something like this:

/* ====================================================================
 * The MyXYZProject Software License, Version 1.1
 *
 * (this license is derived and fully compatible with the Apache
Software
 * License - see http://www.apache.org/LICENSE.txt)

 * if any, must include the following acknowledgment:
 * "This product includes software developed by the
 *        MyXYZProject Group (http://www.MyXYZProject.org/)."
 * Alternately, this acknowledgment may appear in the software
itself,
 * if and wherever such third-party acknowledgments normally appear.
 *

"MyXYZProject"

 * name, without prior written permission of the MyXYZProject Group.

 */

This is a copy which I pasted directly from a project which is doing so,
except for the substitutions. So all you have to do is substitute some
occourences of ASF with your own project. I think the ASF staff would
suppress a smile otherwise ;-)

Thorsten
