Even if i think that the responsibility of having the parameter and the
servlet-mapping congruent could be delegated to the developer, i'm agree
with you about don't build up yet another configuration mechanism.
My 'patches' are a 5 minutes patches so i happily accept your complaint.

I'll look at your (both) suggestion eager to learn something ;)
