What I would suggest is a) keep the same 2 lists we have now (barracuda, barracuda-commit) and b) automatically subscribing everyone to the new list... Before we announce a general cutover, however, we should make sure we can get all of the archives imported into the new system (Matthieu can help us with this) Once its there, we roll everything over, make a general announce to start using the new list, and everything continues like before...except we're running off the new site. Seems to me that makes for the least amount of disruption...
