Hey folks,

As many of you probably remember, when Lutris went under the community 
banded together and purchased the server (http://barracudamvc.org). 
Since that time, we've moved a lot of our stuff (mailing lists, src 
repositories, builds, etc) to ObjectWeb, and the only thing this box 
continues to host is really the online documentation and examples, which 
require a version of Tomcat to run within. So far so good.

Here's the problem. Basically, this box appears to have a hardware issue 
which causes it to lock periodically and requires the good folks at 
Internet Exposure to perform manual reboot. Shawn thinks the only way 
we're ever going to figure out the problem and get it fixed is by 
actually getting the box in-house here where we can look at it. While 
we're at it, the box itself could use a good housecleaning (update the 
OS, etc).

SO...what I'd like to propose - especially in light of the facts that 
I'm going to start working on upgrading the barracuda docs for a 2.0 
release - is that we do the following:

a) redirect the barracudamvc ip address to our servers here at 
ATMExpress (we can provide the bandwidth, at least for the time being) - 
we will go ahead an host the /Barracuda webdocs here on a different box

b) our company will pay to have the existing box shipped from Internet 
Exposure to here, where one of our guys (a sharp new hire named Heath) 
will wipe the box, upgrade the OS, and reinstall the Barracuda stuff on it

c) we'll then redirect the ip address to the new box and start 
monitoring it to see if the hardware problems persist - if so, we can 
easily reboot it as needed (and hopefully find/fix the problem as well)

We can probably host the server here for as long as we want to, but if 
at any point we want to ship it back to Internet Exposure (or some other 
provider) we can do that as well. The big thing at this point is to get 
the box functioning well again, so we can move forward with upgrading 
the docs, creating some sample apps, etc.

What I need to know is: does anyone have any problems with this? I can't 
imagine that anyone will, but of course I don't want to assume things 
either. If this sounds good (or bad), please feel free to respond to the 
list and voice your opinion...
