Re: Barracuda: JSP Support

Now that this has come up again, I'd like to add my experience and lobby for 
support of JSP templates in Barracuda.  We started building an app in 
Barracuda for one of our customers (Nike) but then had to convert it to 
servlets/JSPs because they didn't like the fact that XMLC templates don't get 
recompiled on the fly like JSPs do.  Now I know that XMLC has such a feature 
but since our customer within Nike runs JRun it wouldn't work (and we would 
have had to implement class loader stuff to fix it).  In addition, I doubt 
that would have pleased them very much because their entire team was used to 
Struts and JSPs, so we caved.  I personally MUCH prefer XMLC over JSPs, but 
if we could have used JSPs as templates we would have been able to build the 
app in Barracuda. (I think Tim D. had an experience like this with Nike too.)  
In any case, I think choice is generally a good thing and might also flatten 
the Barracuda learning curve a bit for new users.  

Kirk, I'd be more than happy to help you implement this if it gets the green
