Hi Diez,

I used XDoc as a generic word.  It isn't an actual product.  I know that 
the Jakarta and XML Apache projects use some sort of XSLT transformation to 
do all their docs.  I makes them easy to work because they are clean and 
free of <img src="spacer.gif"> and <font> tags strewn everywhere (among 
other things).  I am with Diez.  I don't want to be forced to use an ugly, 
bloated, markup-mangling too such as MS Frontpage.  Any text edtor should 
do.  The look and feel can be entirely defined via the structure we create 
via the XSLT transformation and CSS stylesheets.  In fact, we can get rid 
of most of the images.  If you don't believe me, look at:

That is an extreme example and I'm not saying we should use that layout 
specifically.  The point is, there are only 3 images on the entire page and 
2 of them are the w3c standard images.  The other isn't even part of the 
page, but imported in a stylesheet as a background image (the barracuda 
fish).  Everything else is pure markup and CSS.  An, btw, try clicking on 
the radio buttons near the top of the page and see what you think of using 
alternate stylesheets.  Also, look at this in a Mozilla browser and see how 
cool CSS can actually be.  Look at the source.  It is super easy to read 
and modify with any text editor.  This is what we should be doing.  That 
way, talk about changing our layout will be a matter of writing up an 
alternate CSS stylesheet and/or creating an alternate XSLT stylesheet.  No 
more worry about modifying the markup.
