Jake, have you had a chance to look into
a) getting us archived on this list
b) getting old archives imported

Just checking...

I'm not sure how the mail-archives.com works, but can we consider getting
our mail archived at http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/ . It is, by far, my
favorite archive. I like the interface and the searching is quite nice.
Plus it is a one-stop shop for pretty much all open source projects. I'm
just not sure how it works as far as registering with them.

BTW, is Barracuda still going to have a pseudo-home at
barracuda.enhydra.org?...at last pointing to barracudamvc.org? I think
keeping some relationship with ObjectWeb is a good thing.

    Christian,

I did not realize there were existing Barracuda archives on
mail-archive.com, so yes we'll need to contact them to get them changed.

As far as importing the old messages, I was actually going to wait to
subscribe mail-archive.com to this list until we moved the server and I had
all the archive files ready to import to mail-archive.com (all the old
b.e.org messages are already on barracudamvc.org right now). That way it
just would've been easier to import because I could just send them every
email ever sent, and not have to worry about a cutoff date so that they
don't archive duplicates.

Well, let's focus on what they can do as far as getting rid of the
existing list archives first.

      Shawn,
I have subscribed mail-archive.com to both [email protected]
and
[email protected] need to contact the appropriate
people at mail-archive.com and get them to
      a) remove the existing barracuda and barracudamvc-users archives (as
these
      will no longer be active)
      b) import the archives from the b.e.org barracuda list (I think you
said you
      knew how to do this)
Can you take care of these? Or do we need someone else to do it?
