Hi Jake, I just pulled the latest from cvs and recompiled, and everything looks fine on my end (it all compiled, unit tests ran successfully). I'm inclined to prefer going with the approach you've taken of diffing/repatching, rather than re-pulling the whole tree, mostly since we've already made a fair amount of changes on the new system. The key, of course, is just making sure we catch everything, but from the sounds of it we have, and if there's something missing we could always go back to the copy of the tree that Shawn pulled. Ok, As far as I can tell, everything that needed to be updated is updated. That includes every nook and cranny of the barracudamvc.org Barracuda CVS module tree. Now, we could blow this away and just start over by going back and starting fresh with the source from b.e.org. The advantage of this would be to keep all the history. However, most of the recent changes were code formatting ones and changing "static logger" to "static final logger". So, is it worth going back a doing this? It is arguable. I'd say maybe not What do others think? Note that any major changes are recorded in A_Changes_History.java so we still have that info. Note that I did take into account that some stuff had been updated on BarracudaMVC already. As far as I know, no changes were lost. If anyone wants to double check that I did everything properly, go ahead. We can always use a second pair of eyes, but I think I got everything in the "src" directory updated. I have done no such thing outside the "src" directory at this point. So, if someone wants to look at that, that would be good. Thanks to Gwyn Evans for pointing out the tool "Beyond Compare". It worked out nicely :-) Jake _______________________________________________ Barracuda mailing list [email protected] http://barracudamvc.org/lists/listinfo/barracuda
