Hi folks, I've been messing around with trying to get Jake's reorganised version of Diez's sample pages compiled and built in Eclipse... So far I have things building using XMLCEclipse Plugin and a chopped down build.xml file (for the event class generation). I'm struggling with a crash out to do with an error ( java.lang.ClassCastException ... render(ExampleBasePage.java:78) ) and I thought I might post the stuff I've done so someone with a better sense of Java and Barracuda then me can have a peak... if anyone is interested in this sort of thing that is. Cheers, -Garth http://24.43.123.41/bp/ my crapped out version in it's deployed state http://www.northern.ca/projects/barracuda/bp.zip the project workspace - this is Jake and Diez's work remixed a little, instructions are included Here are the the files you need to create an Eclipse environment: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=58321&release_id=138620 XMLCPlugin for eclipse http://www.northern.ca/forums/getfile.php?id=34 XMLCPlugin patch to do ssi needed for getElementNavigationHook http://www.sysdeo.com/eclipse/tomcatPlugin.html Tomcat Plugin for Eclipse http://www.eclipse.org/ Eclipse IDE
