Sure there is - just add the build script as an "external tool" of type "ant build". In the upcoming eclipse 2.1 (Milestones 4 and 5, to be specific :-) you get there by choosing "Properties" from the Project's context menu, then select "External Tools Builders" in the wizard that pops up and ceate a new builder of type "Ant build" that executes the targets you want to run before or after the internal compile - pretty straightforward, actually.
