To be honest, I am not sure if I will work on this. It
depends if it is worth to do. I will look at
Barracuda's event model carefully before I make any
decision.

Assume that I will do something in Barracuda. I am
sure that I will not go b). It makes too much
unnecessary function calls between two data trees. It
only can be a temporary solution. For a), a new dom
implemetation has to be introduced in order to store
squeezed data or deal with some text files as you
mentioned. The dom operations should skip this part
automatically. So it is unnecessary to use my data
struture. From the current framework, I don't see
anyway to use my data struture natually.
