enhydra-5.0-1.R.i386 installation problem

hello,
I installed j2sdk-1_4_1_04 on my computer, which running RedHat 9.
I use the following command to install enhydra 5:

   rpm -i enhydra-5.0-1.R.i386.rpm

During the  installation,  I got a prompt:

   Please enter path to your  Java Development Kit - JDK directory 
[/usr/local/jdk1.3.1]

and I entered /usr/local/jdk, which is the link to my j2sdk installation 
directory. I actually tested javac, and java commands. They work.
Then, The following message show up repeatedly on the screen:

   add.path:BUILD FAILED
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

Total time: 33 seconds
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

   [propertyfile] Creating new property file: 
/usr/local/enhydra5.0/build/tmp/class.in

eventually, I get the failure message:

  BUILD FAILED
  java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

  Total time: 33 seconds
  java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

Does anyone know how to fix the problem?
