Thanks for your contribution, though your patches aren't included literally, their spirit is. 1) DODS has changed a lot, one of changes is: config directory isn't at fixed location, thus no configuration files are read until actually used, so applications not using DODS (those without DatabaseManager section in their conf files) have no problems. We tested this on example apps: Chat, Calculator, FOP, GolfShop, ... If you have DatabaseManager section you must have DODS conf file. Your patch introduces a problem for apps which are using DODS. We are trying to solve this with another conf file param. 2) EnTray now exists for KDE too, so 'lst' file generation may be needed on GNU/Linux. Anyways this feature can be suppressed with Server.WriteApplicationList parameter in multiserver.conf file. Actually Enhydra5.1rc2 doesn't have this parameter (it was added next day), in RC2: you should start Server.ServiceName with sign '/' to produce same behavior. -- Vladimir Puskas <[email protected]> Together, Serbia
