Thanks Alfred, That was exactly what I needed! By accident I stumbled over the selectCount() method which seems to be the solution to another problem we are facing: how to count the number of rows of a query! My question is: does selectCount() cache the results? Or is it recalculated all the times it is called? Thanks in advance! I have a practical question concerning browsing of tables with DODS (standalone). I need to retrieve the contents of a table in pages. In the old version of DODS I constructed manually a query using the SQL OFFSET and LIMIT feature. What would be the best DODS way to browse a table, page for page, without the need to get the entire table at once and throw away the unneeded parts?
