Using kSOAP on a Zaurus

I am trying to create an application using kSOAP on a Zaurus 5500, but have had nothing but road blocks.  Since the Zaurus uses Personal Java I am using it instead of J2ME.
I have several questions:
 
1. Is it possible to use kSOAP on a Zaurus?
2. Where should I put kSOAP.jar on the Zaurus so my applications can see it?
3. Does a kSOAP application need to extend MIDlet and implement CommandListener to work correctly?
 
Any help would be much appreciated.
