Hi, I would like to use Ksoap to push information packages outside the HTTP request/response pattern. I know that SOAP (for example Apache SOAP) can bind to SMTP and mail the messages. Regarding this I have some questions: 1) Does Ksoap work with SMTP 2) If yes, how can I improve its reliability? We all know that mail sometimes does not arrive or arrive two times. Generally the sender cannot be 100% sure if the email arrived and so on. I am wondering if a light weight JMS style could be included in Ksoap. I do not need the persistence bit because this is usually done by databases and other resource intensic software which I probably cannot run on a PDA. At least I would like to hava a mechanism to get a automatic acknoledgement and a messege is send again if the transmission was disconneced. If a message was send two times, the light-JMS should then filter out the dublicates. This would be a minimum service, which I can think of. Does something like that exists or did somebody delveop something like that? Thank you! Ralf -- NEU FÜR ALLE - GMX MediaCenter - für Fotos, Musik, Dateien...
