WAP to MSSoap or .net

I am currently successfully using ksoap in a RIM/MDS Blackberry environment*
(See details below) to access web services that have been created using
MSSoap and .net. I have recently tried to access these same services via WAP
and I get a failure. The failure at the server side, which seems to be an
HTTP error "Operation not allowed". A list of HTTP commands is included in
the message and "Post" is not in this list. Any idea?

*Wireless data traffic is carried over RIM's Mobile Data Services(MDS) to
RIM'S "BES" server, which sits in-house.
