Eddie, I believe I am having the same problem if you are having trouble
mapping ms soap types to Java, though I am using MS SOAP 3.0, not .net. See
the email thread on this subject "MS SOAP Interop issue". I can forward the
digest to you if you don't find it. The interop tests results show the
correct xsi/xsd types generated by the MS server. I don't know how to get my
service to do the same on a simple string echo test. I haven't been able to
get information on how the interop test produced those results. Please keep
me informed of any progress and I will do the same.

 Steve

Hello guys,

for my practical semester I chose to work on accesssing webservices using
J2ME. I have read and read and read all around and know roughly the problems
that exist between the .net namespacing and that of ksoap. Well my problem
is I
just don't get the simple request through to work.

I am using a simple .net webservice and a ksoap service call. I deployed
some of the examples that come with apache soap and they work fine with
ksoap,
BUT that of the .net does not.

Could anyone out there help me? or even send me both client and server
working example (Helloworld). I need to know what to configure on the dotnet
server or do anything to make the request work.

Thanks for your help in advance.

edddie
