Hi, My name is Vu Truong and I work as a technical analyst for a systems integration company in Sydney Australia. I have a question concerning the Marshalling feature within the kSOAP implementation. Currently I'm involved in the development of a Java MIDP application for a warehousing system, the application communicates to an Apache Tomcat server over the web using SOAP messages. Through testing, I have found that the application takes an immense amount of time for any interaction between the server and client. This seems to only be the case when testing on a Palm device. However, I sought to improve this interaction time by creating my own Marshalling class following an example provided. The result proved ok for outbound messages from the client but I am unable to do the same for inbound messages. My problem is that I have created a marshalling class to only provide inbound marshalling for one of my Java objects, and when I run the application, it doesn't execute the readInstance() method within my marshalling class. Do you have some detailed documentation supporting the Marshalling feature or could you please refer me to someone who can help? Thanks, Vu Truong
