Now another problem is that version 2.0 support MIDP 2 which very few devices supports. Is there any way to go about using the 1.0.4 toolkit ? This error occurs because of the compiler version mismatch. Remove anything else from lib apart from the classes that you are compiling from the J2ME toolkit.
