Complete a block activity

Hi,

I have a doubt about block activities. When I complete the last activity
inside of a block, what happens with the activity that represents the
block outside, is it automatically completed or it must be completed in
some way, in such a case, how it should be performed?

I would be grateful if somebody can help me.
