activity query

Hi,
I'm trying to do an query on activities, but am coming back with no results:

ea.connect(this.user, this.password, "", "");
WfActivityIterator actIt = ea.get_iterator_activity();
// I know activities exist with this name because I
// see them when I query for processes
String query = "name.equals(\"someName\")";
actIt.set_query_expression(query);
WfActivity[] wfas = actIt.get_next_n_sequence(0);
LOG.debug("wfas.length: "+wfas.length);

Am I doing something wrong here?  Also, does it matter who I'm logged
into the ExecutionAdministration as?  I'm just using one user/group at
this point.
