"short circuit" activity

Hi, I have a workflow like this start at A A branches to B and C B or C must complete to get to D So, once A completes, both B and C are open activities. Once B or C completes, I want the other one to become inactive as well. I thought this happened automatically in shark, but I guess I was wrong. Is there a way to tell shark to automatically end that activity? Thanks, Ben
