Users Groups and Activities

1) As a follow-up to my previous note, I see the UserGroupTable in the
database, can I assume that if I want to have a user in multiple groups,
that I'll have to write my own administration tool that uses the
UserGroupAdministration interface?
 
2) I have a after making a connection.  I can get all my work by calling
wfrResource.get_sequence_work_item(max_rows);
Is there any way I can get a subset of my work?  I only want those
activities that are a result of me being in a certain group.
 
For example, I'm in Group A and Group B.  Right now there are two
activities, Activity A (assigned to Group A) and Activity B (assigned to
Group B).
If I want to see a list of only those activities I need to work on
because I'm part of Group A (which means I'd see a list with only
Activity A in it) - is there a way to do that?  Even if I iterate over
the WfAssignment array, I don't see a way to figure out if its because
I'm in Group A or in Group B.
