I'm trying to solve my issue of assigning all my activities ahead of time using the ArbitraryExpressionPerformer. Here is what I've done so far: 1. Created a process and defined two activities. Both of these activities are in the "default" ArbitraryExpression "swimlane" 2. Created two process variables under JAWE's Workflow RelevantData tab called "pone" and "ptwo" - both are Basic Type - String 3. Under JAWE's activities tab, I assigned pone to be the performer of activityone and ptwo to be the performer of activitytwo 4. The script type for the package properties is set to text/javascript 5. I changed the Shark.conf file as follows, commenting out the default and adding the new one: #AssignmentManagerClassName=org.enhydra.shark.assignment.StandardAssignm entManager AssignmentManagerClassName=org.enhydra.shark.assignment.XPDLStraightPart icipantMappingAssignmentManager 6. I create the process and assign the process variable pone to "GroupOne" and ptwo to "GroupTwo". 7. I start the process When I look at the assignments for activity one, instead of the users in GroupOne having access to it, it appears to be assigned to a resource called 'GroupOne" (even though there is no user called "GroupOne"). Is there anyway I can get the ArbitraryExpression performer to assign an activity to a group instead of a role? Also, Is there any relationship between a "resource" in the ResourceTable and a user/group in the Usertable/GroupTable?
