Hi Frans, i think you are getting confused between a process *definition* and process *instances*. The process defintion is what is contained in the xpdl. Once an xpdl file is loaded into Shark, Shark can create *instances* of this process (as defined by the xpdl). Please look at this for a very nice explanation of what these terms mean in the workflow world: http://www.wfmc.org/standards/docs/TC-1011_term_glossary_v3.pdf The info about the pkgId and the processId is in the xpdl. Please see my last email about where to look for them. I think I want to instantiace "testWRD#1#ComplexWRDs", how to get the packageId, processId from this process? i look at SharkAdmin and cannot get those, the process propieties only show Name, Categoruy, Version, Active processes, and state. have a simple case for this?
