Hi Leonardo: I am trying to understand your problem. You have an activity which has automatic start. The activity sends an email out. Then your user must manually finsih the activity. Does this describe your situation? Geeta Leonardo Mira <[email protected]> 07/27/2005 02:26 PM Please respond to [email protected] To [email protected] cc Subject {Spam?} [shark] Question about tool activities and assignments Hi, Is possible to create assignments for activities with tools? I have a situation where I need a activity to send an e-mail (a tool configured for the activity) and the user must manually go to shark and complete the activity. But to have a Automatic start mode for an activity, the activity cannot have a defined performer. So I think in put an Extended Attribute to define the executer, but then I discovered that when an activity has tools, the AssignmentManager configured is not called, like in a "normal" activity. I can use an Extended Attribute to connect an Application with the activity and then send the e-mail through the Assignment Manager, but then the responsabilities dont be well defined and I dont know if all the informations that I need will be avaliable. Can anybody help me with this?
