Thanks, I finally got OK, but still don't know what the problem, following is the steps: 1 - First installed on d:\shark (my current working Windows XP has been installed on d:, c: is the another XP) and CORBA service is not running, then I uninstall and reinstall many times, still not fixed. 2 - then I make a fresh install on c:\(default path), and soon after installation was finish my Norton Internet Security pop up a dialog (this did not occur in my previous installations) and want me set a rule about program j2sdk\bin\tnameserv.exe, then I give it an always permission to access the internet through any port, and then the CORBA service is working, and everything is OK. 3 - then I uninstall, and make another fresh install on d:\, everything is OK. It's a bit complex, but I guess it has relation with the Norton and install disk. genggeng -----Original Message----- From: 刘宁 [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, August 01, 2005 8:23 AM To: [email protected] Subject: ′e?′: [shark] Shark CORBA service could not run Reinstall the Shark I always install shark for more than 2.CORBA Service run correctly -----邮件原件----- 发件人: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] 发送时间: 2005年7月30日 20:27 收件人: [email protected] 主题: [shark] Shark CORBA service could not run Hi, I am a newer, I installed shark but CORBA service could not run, I always got message about "The server is down, or it is busy - try to connect it later", and I check the service is not running in windows, once I startup the service it startup and then immediately stop.
