How to start activity inside a block

Hello, I need your help please. I am working with Shark 1.0 and I need to start an activity which belongs to a block (activity set). To start this activity the API requires to pass the block instance id along with the activity definition id that you want to start, but we do not know how to get the block instance id. Is there any way to know the instance id of the block to which the activity definition id belongs? I hope you can help me, thank you in advance. Best regards, David.
