Database pools in Shark 1.0

Hi all, Does anybody know if it is possible to configure a database pool in Shark 1.0? I have changed recently from Hypersonic to Oracle and I would like to use a pool to increase the performance of connections. The best solution would be getting the pool through "jndi" but i am not sure if this is possible in Shark 1.0 with the DODs implementation that it comes with. So if jndi access is not possible I would like to configure a pool directly in Shark at least. Best regards, David.
