Other question, reassign task

How do i reassign a task i am assigned.
Imagine i consider a task assigned to me can be handled by my collegua (for any reason).
Is it possible to reassign it without being an admin? If so, how (programmatically speaking)? 
I see corba admin client does this by taking the WgAssignment  and
call the set_assignee() on it, with a given wfRessource. However, this wfressource can only be
retrievie by an admin interface, it seems. 

Is there a better way to do, or is it intended behaviour only admin ca reassign??
