class loading in corba service

I apologize if this is not the correct list for this question. If someone has the answer, I will be grateful, or grateful for direction to the correct list. Where should classes be placed for loading as external references in the shark corba service, or how can a library of classes be specified? For an implementation that works in stand alone under Windows, I am receiving "failed to instantiate %classname%" messages when I execute the same XPDL on Linux (Suse 9) running sharkCorbaService.
