INTRO: In my process activites can exchange data through XPDL variables. (or through external DB or file) I used String XPDL variables in the past. Suppose my JavaClassToolagent has INOUT variable of String. (named result) QUESTION: How long can be XPDL String variable. can it be like 20 lines of text ? (e.g. 2000 characters ?) (like in Java where the memory is basically the limit ?) (or it must be <256chars or some other limit ?) Vojtech P.S. I am back in Shark environemnt after some break (I needed to develop certain data access libraries) :-)
