SQL Exception persisting Resource

Hello,
When I attempt to start a process, it starts ok but when shark attempts to commit the transaction within the SharkDODSTransaction class, it throws the following SQL exception
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("IAN2"."RESOURCESTABLE"."USERNAME")
in the storage hashmap Username looks to be missing is this causing the problem?
class org.enhydra.shark.instancepersistence.data.ResourceDO=[. ResourceDO: OID=1022679,VERSION=0
. Username=
. Name=null
. SUPER=org.enhydra.shark.instancepersistence.data.ResourceDO@7ad736]
