Password encryption, please help

Hello,

I would like to integrate Shark 1.1 with our Security System, Acegi
Security System for Spring. The problem is that from  Shark version 1.1
the password is encrypted and I do not know how to obtain it in order to
pass it to our security system. I would need to provide the password as
clear text in order our system can check it. Another approach, it would
be to perform the same encryption in our system, but I do not know which
is the encryption used or how to perform it through the Shark API for
instance.

Can anybody help us with this item please?
