Re: Parent-Activity Completion Depends on the Child Sub-Process Status

I'm not sure that I understood the requirement correctly, but it seems to
me like standard SubFlow activity from XPDL.
Hence, when you define synchronous subflow activity in the process, this
activity references some other process. When this activity comes to an
execution, the referenced process is created and started. When this
process finishes, the referencing activity from the parent process
finishes automatically, and the parent process flow continues.

You can find some examples of subflow activities in Business_Example.xpdl
comming with shark - there are both synchronous and asynchronous subflow
activities.
