problem joining list

I have attempted to join the mailing list [email protected], but logon 
attempts are met by the response:

"Your account is currently pending your email confirmation. Visiting the 
link sent to you in this email will activate your account.

If you need this email resent, please click below and a confirmation 
email will be sent to the email address you provided in registration."

I have responded several times, at least once with each of the choices 
given.  I have also asked to reset my password, visited that URL, reset 
the password and was then told I could proceed to login via a link.  I 
clicked on the link and received the same "awaiting confirmation" response.

Help!
