to connect oracle

please help me to connect the Oracle system.

I have changed Shark.conf file which is given below

DatabaseManager.DB.sharkdb.JdbcDriver="oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"
DatabaseManager.DB.sharkdb.Connection.Url="jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:shark"


It gives some exeception:

)

  Failed to allocate object ids.  Giving up!
    SQLState = 42000
    SQLError = 942
    SQLMsg   = ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

2006-04-17 14:17:17,140: Problem with registering database manager with DODS !
com.lutris.appserver.server.sql.ObjectIdAllocationError: ObjectIdAllocator: 
  Failed to allocate object id.  Caused by SQLException:
    SQLState = 42000
    SQLError = 942
    SQLMsg   = ORA-00942: table or view does not exist


please help me.
